Fishing trip - Trolling & Big Game / Bottom Fishing

Experience the thrill and excitement of catching your own fish, both big and small, on these organised private sport-fishing trips, all while sailing along Malta’s beautiful coastline.

Even people with little or no experience of fishing will enjoy these excursions, since the captains will help you by recommending the best techniques for specific types of fishing. Everything will be done under their expert supervision.

The state-of-the-art fish-finding equipment on board the boats ensures that fish can be caught even when the conditions are not perfect for a catch. Passengers are also provided with modern fishing equipment, ensuring quality and reliability.

Since this is a private boat trip, there will only be your group on board.

Three types of trip can be booked:

• Offshore Trolling with lures
  Offshore fishing involves going further out to sea. This fast method of fishing entails trolling a series of artificial lures behind the boat at high speed, in order to invite fast-swimming fish like tuna and dorado to attack the lures. An adrenaline rush is guaranteed! Offshore fishing is the best option if you want to see larger fish on the end of your line.
• Coastal Trolling with live bait
  Coastal fishing is done close to the shore. Live bait is trolled behind the boat to catch bonitos, barracudas, amberjacks and dentex.
• Bottom Fishing
  Bottom fishing can also be done to catch a wide variety of fish, including wrasse, bream, parrot fish, comber and also shoal fish such as mackerel.

For children under 18 a consent form is required, sign by a parent or guardian.

Availability:

All year round subject to weather conditions.

Morning (07:00 to 12:00) and afternoon (13:00 to 18:00) sessions available. Please let us know your preference when you book.
