Windsurfing Course

Malta is a great place to practise the beautiful sport of windsurfing! If you’ve never tried windsurfing before, be prepared to get hooked! When you windsurf there’s no motor - it’s just you, your board, wind and water, a wonderful combination that leaves most people wanting to repeat the experience!

We offer windsurfing to participants of all ages and levels of fitness. Progress is usually quick and newcomers to the sport can be up and going on their very first day. Learning how to windsurf is easier than ever before. Modern equipment is light and manageable and doesn’t require too much upper body strength.

Windsurfing Course

This course is targeted at those who are new to the sport. You are under constant supervision Participants learn the first steps to becoming a windsurfer. Students learn basic sailing terms, the parts of the board and its rigging, safety features, basic knots, orientation and balance, stopping, gaining speed and basic handling.

Having completed and passed a basic test, participants will be issued with a certificate.

Course duration: 4 sessions x 3.75 Hours

All our windsurfing instructors are highly experienced and RYA qualified.

All year round (weather permitting)

Suitability:

Minimum age - 10
Participants should be able to swim

Course duration:

4 Half days (15 hours)

Included in Price:

All equipment including wet suit (when necessary) and buoyancy aid is provided.
Transport is included from the north of Malta (St. Paul's Bay / Bugibba / Qawra area).

What to bring / wear:

Swimwear, towel, sunscreen, hat, dry clothes, drinking water.

Good to know:
